Job description

Job Title: ALDI/COSTCO Business Analyst

Department: Sales

Reports to: Director of Sales

Main Purpose: Support the Sales team by tracking and analyzing demand trends in order to provide forecasts along with insights to continue growing business at key customers

Position Requirements

Education: Business Administration or business discipline.

Degree: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Fresh Produce or Consumer-Packaged Goods industry is preferred

Language: English Required

Key Job Accountabilities

1.Analyzing shipment to customer projection data in order to provide demand forecasts (base & promotional) to the cross functional team

2.Provide ongoing analysis of customer service data & scorecards, providing insights that will help formulate strategic plans to improve OTIF performance

3. Complete customer administrative requests related to new item setup, promotional activity, pricing updates and supply projections

4.Use sales and syndicated data (IRI, Panel, etc) to identify trends and provide customers with insights for driving stronger category performance

5.Strong communication and collaboration to Sales Team, cross functional partners, and Customers.

Specific Functions - Activities

OTIF reporting & communication

Demand forecast updates

Customer communication of supply projections with callouts of shortages/excess

Sales and category performance(panel) reporting

Knowledge and technical requirements

Competency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and v-lookup, to manage large datasets

Utilize multiple data sources to gather information to quickly identify business opportunities and gaps

Familiar with Syndicated Data solutions (IRI/Nielsen/Panel) and ALDI Produce Tendering Portal
