We're growing and as a result, we're looking to expand our leadership team, adding a Controller to our growing Finance team. We're seeking a well-rounded leader with a solid depth of knowledge of accounting guidance, policies, procedures and internal controls. Our successful Controller will be energized by the challenges of driving transformation required by our growth.


SOME OF WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead, manage, and grow our great accounting team
  • Prepare and interpret financial information, including financial statements, GL ledgers, and other reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Prepare and distribute budget packages and work closely with operations groups to manage costs and resources
  • Complete and continue to improve integration of invoicing process with new CRM platform
  • Oversee multi-state payroll ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations
  • Research GAAP issues
  • Direct purchasing and payables activity including vendor contract management
  • Manage all external audits
  • Evaluate and implement accounting and finance-related software
  • Develop and enforce internal controls
  • Create and implement policies and procedures


SOME OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or possess a commensurate combination of education and work experience
  • Worked 10+ years in accounting with 5+ in supervisory roles and preferably 5+ in public accounting managing audits of public companies or 5+ working at a public company
  • Managed/Lead a team of around ten people
  • Built high-performing teams and processes from scratch
  • Maintained an active Certified Public Account license (preferred)
  • Managed complex processes and application implementations
  • Interacted and communicated effectively with all levels of business people, internal and external
  • Proficiently used Microsoft Office applications including expert use of MS Excel
  • Exhibited Attitude of Service with a "Get it Done" approach
