Job description

The DoSeum has been growing steadily and now seeks to dramatically accelerate growth. As such, our VP, Finance and Administration will assume strategic leadership of The DoSeum's financial planning and execution, with additional responsibilities to include executive leadership of departments, but not necessarily limited to, human resources, information technology (IT), operations, sales, security, safety, and logistical support. Our Senior VP Finance and Administration will have a critical role on the leadership team in strategic decision making and operations as The DoSeum continues to enhance its community impact and build capacity.

The Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration will report to the Executive Director. They will be a mission-focused, visional, seasoned, strategic, servant-leading and process-minded executive with strong experience in growing organizations; crafting and implementing highly effective financial management and investment policies; creating a high-performance culture; and developing, motivating and evaluating diverse, talented team members across assigned functions.

While it is essential the Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration bring efficient and effective capabilities to increase the productivity of the organization, it is also crucial that they fit into an overall DoSeum team with the creative spark that drives The DoSeum mission and vision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must believe in The DoSeum's core values and be driven by the mission. They will be high energy, self-motivated, collaborative, creative, detailed, thorough and confident; and will be a leader of the highest integrity, embracing a diverse workplace and customer base. They will be an exceptional financial executive with clear critical thinking skills and a clear track record of success. They will demonstrate a clear ability to lead, motivate, inspire, and build the capabilities of a driven, bright, diverse team; and to attract and retain outstanding talent by earning (not demanding) trust and respect. They will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Bachelor's Degree with an MBA/CPA or related degree.

Seven to 10 years of overall professional experience; ideally 5 plus years of nonprofit financial and operations management experience.
