Our established construction management firm is growing its clientele, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Construction Project Manager/Resident Inspector to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and field experience in construction inspection and project management. Must be highly ethical, organized, motivated, detail-oriented and self-driven. Responsibilities:

  • Will serve as the Owner representative for the management and inspection of contractor construction activities.
  • Supervise construction inspection activities for all disciplines.
  • Produce detailed daily and monthly reports covering work in progress, observations, safety, non-compliance work, and other relevant issues.
  • Chair weekly project meeting and record comprehensive minutes.
  • Review construction work for compliance with contract documents, including plans and specifications.
  • Review and approve contractors' requisitions for payment.
  • Monitor progress schedule.
  • Process and keep track of submittals and RFIs and all project correspondence.
  • Monitor construction progress and quality
  • Facilitate and/or coordinate resolutions to questions or other construction issues
  • Construction Administration (managing RFI's, Submittals, CO's, etc.)
  • Other duties as required and/or needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or Architecture
  • Professional License (EIT or PE), PMP (Preferred)
  • 5 years related experience required.
  • A broad understanding of commercial/residential construction and project management.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite (e.g., Word, Excel) and MS Project/Primavera.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • English (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Project management: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Engineer/Architect In Training License (Preferred)
