We are looking for an Inventory and Warehouse Management Consultant who:
- Participates in all aspects of the implementation solution from the analysis of business requirements to the configuration of applications to meet the customer's needs, and the configuration of the standard functionalities of the solutions.
- Develops a plan that aligns with customers' goals and objectives.
- Analyzes operational processes and determines the gap between the client's requirements/specifications and the standard functionalities of the proposed solutions.
- Configuring the Warehouse Management System application to achieve the client's business requirements.
- Understand and analyze inventory and warehouse management metrics, propose the optimal solutions through system tools, implement it and support it.
- Manage network optimization process to mitigate cost and maximize service.
- Support the inventory optimization including inventory levels, slow moving and obsolete inventory.
- Supports in the solutions configuration, includes but is not limited to: defining roles and authorizations, creating users and assigning the roles, and defining process and adapt workflows.
- Collaborates with project leaders and the implementation team to ensure understanding of the set-up requirements, business-aligned objectives, and obtains a complete understanding of the current business processes.
- Supports the customer with the transition to the new system.
Job requirements…
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory and warehouse management processes.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge in Microsoft Projects, preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Excellent communications skills.
- Operational analysis skills.
- Customer services skills.
- Time management skills.
- Problem solving ability.
