Partner with the best

As an Organic Chemist, you will take ownership of designing experiments and synthesizing new molecules in our Downstream technology laboratory. You will play an integral role in developing and testing chemical products for our global customers.

As an Organic Chemist, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and conducting research, proposing experiments, and analysing data to enhance understanding of products and processes
  • Appling sophisticated scientific understanding and inventive solutions to research and development problems, ideas, and projects.
  • Balancing hands-on work activities with technical leadership activities.
  • Collaborating with manufacturing functions throughout the product development cycle.
  • Creating and protect intellectual property for the company.
  • Handling multiple projects for on schedule delivery.
  • Communicating data to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Working with minimum supervision.
  • Providing direction to less experienced scientists and technicians.
  • Handling special projects, as assigned.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a PhD in Organic Chemistry or equivalent discipline
  • Have 2+ years of experience in organic chemistry (can include academic research)
  • Have extensive hands-on experience in organic synthesis
  • Be able to develop new test methods for in-depth product characterization
  • Have a strong understanding of structure-property relationships
  • Have strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex problems
  • Have basic project management skills
  • Have good written and verbal skills in English and the ability to communicate well individually and in a team environment
  • Be a good team player, enjoying collaboration and problem solving with others
