As a Director of Business Development Representatives, you'll be responsible for managing and motivating a team of highly driven and enthusiastic Business Development Managers and their teams. In this role you will be required to build a winning strategy, set goals, and measure performance against weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing hiring, mentoring and development of BDR Managers and BDR's which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new members.
- Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member.
- Motivate team members through creative incentives.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversation of sales accepted opportunities and playbook effectiveness.
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity.
- Partner with senior sales management, marketing, and other business partners to develop a successful GTM strategy.
- Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team.
- Deliver maximum revenue opportunity for the Sales organization.
- Scale and train team of BDRs to provide Sales Qualified Leads, from both outbound and inbound efforts to account executives and sales directors.
- Design, manage, and optimize integrated digital outbound outreach efforts across multiple business verticals to generate pipeline.
- Monitor and report outreach performance with granular tracking across relevant KPIs, including but not limited to clicks, sales collateral views, leads, initial sales conversations.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to create and implement impactful sales collateral to improve conversion rates from leads to opportunities.
- Work closely with the Marketing team for both granular tracking, reporting, and efficient lead management/routing in handoff from Marketing to Sales.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience in SaaS.
- Must have direct experience managing a team of SDR's/BDR's.
- Consistent track record of 100%+ quota achievement as an BDR Manager.
- Proven track record scaling of large BDR teams.
- Experienced in hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment.
- High levels of self-motivation, ownership, and adaptability, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of strategic outreach experience, working cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams to develop new outreach initiatives for new product or business initiatives.
- 5+ years of working in an eCommerce sales role at a brand or manufacturer.
- Experience working in a startup, retail, digital advertising, or e-commerce environment.
