Duties: Assist with development or modification to resolve complex business issues, considering computer capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Help formulate and define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Elicit, understand and document business needs to determine and recommend the most optimal solution to conduct software development. Define business and functional requirements for enhancements and projects to implement IT business solutions with a focus on critical business priorities. Conduct best practices and methods for defining detailed business requirements including planning, documentation, analysis and alignment to corporate standards. Develop pipeline and delivery of Voya's software products including vendor solutions to QA, and ultimately to production. Use SQL to gather, verify, manipulate and test data for system conventions to create and manage performance metrics and reporting. Execute product development across all teams as part of the development lifecycle. Work with Project and Release Management to sequence/coordinate development activities within software development environment methodologies. Develop business and functional requirements for small to medium issues and changes in business process. Communicate functional business requirements to effectively involve IT Stakeholders across domains and suppliers and conversely communicate technical solutions to business stakeholders. Provide input to internal business groups and peers on process improvement projects designed to improve business and IT results. Support the design, build and test phases for larger scope enhancements and projects.

Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field plus 2 years of experience gathering business requirements and converting them into functional requirement specifications and user requirements.

Must have experience conducting Gap analysis and research development choices, including estimating and cost-benefit analysis; preparing business process models including modeling all activities of a business from conceptual to procedural level; performing requirement walkthroughs with Dev and QA teams to develop testing strategies and test plans to reflect user needs; ensuring on-going quality for solutions delivery including formalized QA methodologies; and working with testing teams to create requirement traceability, identifying critical data elements and test scenarios.
