As part of Freddie Mac's return to the office pilot, all employees, contingent workers and visitors must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to be on-site unless they have an approved accommodation.Position Overview:Our customers are internal and external business partners, and we provide support to our partners by addressing delinquent loan transaction issues related to loss mitigation workouts, credit loss, non-compliance and escalations. We assist in reconciling inventory of non-performing loans; identify trends and issues around aged inventory; and recommend and build effective strategies and solutions to resolve said issues that ultimately strengthen overall Servicer/Investor relations.Our Impact:The Servicing Operations group manages the reporting and resolution activities for performing and delinquent loans. We are part of the Non-Performing Loan Operation team we provide assistance to internal/external customers on sophisticated issues, escalations, related to legal and property preservation expenses. In addition, we conduct Servicer and Vendor calls to review processes, challenges, and provide standard methodology solutions. We review data for trending analysis and work to decrease the cost spent throughout the foreclosure process and mitigate losses on abandoned properties.Your Impact:You will be an integral part of the team and be encouraged to collaborate with our business partners to address/resolve delinquency and critical issues; manage assigned non-performing loans portfolio(s) and review and provide decisions for Requests for Prior Approval of property preservation or legal expense requests.Qualifications:Typically has 2 - 4 years of recent mortgage experienceCollege degree or equivalent experience preferred and familiarity with commonly used software pack ages required.Servicing knowledge: foreclosure and or bankruptcy, property preservation/field service, taxes or escrow, and loss mitigation with emphasis on Default Management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer-facing communication experienceAbility to draw informative conclusions by analyzing large amount of data and recommend policy, procedural or technology changes.Must have strong experience with MS Office toolsKeys to Success in this Role:Understand and Drive OUR Focus and VisionBe Reliable and ResourcefulPut the Customer FirstBe Innovative and FearlessBe, Curious, Analytical and Think CriticallyEmbrace Change!Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
