Job description

Aptive is seeking a Business Analyst who is comfortable working in an Agile work environment to support a project that directly impacts the lives of Veterans and their families. The Business Analyst will support an Intelligent Forms Recognition (IFR) / Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) and data extraction workstream consisting of low-code/no-code process automation technologies. The Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and communicate business requirements across clients, external partners, and internal team members and use ALM tools (e.g., Jira) to manage / prioritize requirements in the form of User Stories as well as production defects and/or enhancements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

• 3-5 years of experience
• Capable of quickly learning how to use emerging software products
• Basic understanding of data structures, data types, and formatting
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing needs
• Ability to multi-task with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

JOB DUTIES.
• Requirements analysis, documentation and coordination
• Configuring new/emerging process automation software products across non-production and production environments when necessary (e.g., building functionality using low-code/no-code, user management, configuring workflows)
• Testing and validating work products of peers

DESIRED SKILLS.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Understanding of Agile best practices
• 3+ years of experience in consulting, process engineering / automation experience is a plus
• Experience with training and change management
• Experience working with federal agencies
• Experience with low-code/no-code process automation software such as Hyperscience or UiPath
