Job description

This key position will be responsible for overall marketing results for First Arriving's Marketing Agency services business focused on public safety and local government. We are looking for a proven marketing leader who excels at managing exceptional teams, messaging and positioning, marketing strategy and execution, and content marketing aimed at establishing and extending market penetration for our clients and partners.


The incumbent will:

  • Responsible for marketing strategies and operations for dozens of B2B, non-profit and association clients.
  • Resolve potential obstacles for successful project completion, including understanding and setting priorities to balance resources.
  • Improve processes to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of projects and objectives.


Essential Functions

  • Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies/materials.
  • Build, manage and coach a high-performing marketing team.
  • Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads.
  • Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports.
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditures for clients and internal programs.
  • Develop and maintain brand standards for clients and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies.
  • Build long term relationships with employees, clients and stakeholders.


Required Skills

  • Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills - the ability to work with all levels of management/staff and across departments to collect info and build consensus; the ability to motivate and drive teams to meet task deadlines.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating strong marketing strategies and campaign execution.
  • Experience with today's social and search media marketing/advertising trends
  • Ability to balance project deliverables among existing resources and within deadlines.
  • Strong client management skills in nurturing relationships and processes.
  • Experience managing campaigns and integrated digital marketing initiatives.


Required Education and Experience

  • BA or BS degree with marketing or similar concentration required.
  • Excellent operational and project management, including the ability to manage diverse projects and multiple priorities under aggressive timelines and expectations
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing leadership.
  • Agency experience a major plus.
  • Public safety experience a plus, but not required
