What you'll achieve
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring an outstanding customer experience with existing and potential customers. The customers within the Space & Research sector of our Federal business is outlined as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Dept of Commerce, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Energy.

You will:

  • Develop an understanding of customers' business and solution requirements
  • Assist in gaining share of spend across Dell Technologies portfolio of technology solutions: server, storage, networking, software, security and led services
  • Provide sales leadership and experience on large, sophisticated opportunities
  • Support acquisition of new strategic programs, contract vehicles, and task orders in the federal business space.
  • Conduct cross-functional planning and coordination across all lines of business and strategically aligned companies in order to create winning strategies.
  • Articulate the Dell Technologies value proposition to maximize growth and identify market opportunities.
  • Develop pipeline and shape strategic opportunities around customer programs.
  • Regularly engage with decision makers to move opportunities forward and increase resource engagement

Essential Requirements
• 8 to 12 years of experience supporting Federal Programs (solution selling or prior government tenure)
• Extraordinary customer management and strategic selling skills
• Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions tackle business problems
• Strong communication, collaboration and executive presentation skills, and the ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior management

Desirable Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
