POSITION OBJECTIVE:
As a member of the Intellectual Property Group Professional Services team, the IP Lifecycle Management ("IPLM") Consultant is responsible for implementing innovative solutions to support the business processes for our ever-growing customer base using the IPfolio product. The IPLM Consultant is as an integral part of the IPfolio Implementation teams for Client projects and is focused on delivering projects on schedule and within scope and budget, relying on best practices and adhering to defined implementation methodologies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The IPLM Consultant will work closely with the IPfolio and Client Project teams during Implementation Projects to-
- Assume ownership of Core implementation projects from initiation to close and be accountable for ensuring the ultimate success of the project.
- Consult with the IPfolio Project team and Client users during large and Enterprise IPfolio implementation projects to understand business process and functional requirements; coordinate with Lead IPLM Consultants, IPfolio Solution Architect(s), System Architect(s) and Product Development team to document, design, and test functional solutions; and meet business process requirements with system configuration in compliance with IPfolio's best practices, achieving project milestones within the agreed project timeline.
- Assist Clients with the testing of functional requirements, supporting issue resolution and refining the as-built solution configuration in an iterative, agile approach to meet business process requirements.
- Provide training to the IPfolio Project team on functional solutions and support Client functional training sessions.
- Assist clients during Go-Live and provide Go-Live Support.
- Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and provide functional expertise to support trouble-shooting efforts post-Go Live to the Customer Success team.
TO SUCCEED, YOU WILL NEED
- Hands-on knowledge of Intellectual Property management best practices, filing procedures, data, business processes, and terminology
- Experience with or the ability to learn:
- The Salesforce Platform
- SaaS Implementation Methodologies
- The ability to communicate exceptionally well, both in writing and verbally, including communicating with diverse/dispersed/remote/ teams
- To be a be a detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to work independently in an agile, fast-paced, business environment and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE &EDUCATION:
- 2-3+ years of relevant work experience in the Intellectual Property field
- 1-2+ years of software implementation and/or consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional formative experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position is remote, employee is responsible for their workspace
- Standard work hours, relative to employee's time zone, with some variance when needed outside that range.
