Job description

Do you have 1-3 years of corporate govcon experience, and an interest in learning more? ARServices is seeking a full-time, highly motivated and ambitious Program Assistant to join our corporate headquarters in Alexandria, VA. In this position you will learn from the best as you support a variety of departments and senior managers, including operations, human resources and talent acquisition. This important position will have a significant impact on the continued growth and success of ARServices.

Principal Duties

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare meeting materials, and take detailed meeting minutes
  • Create, maintain and file personnel folders
  • Perform audits on personnel files and I-9 files
  • Handle administrative requests from various departments and senior managers, including operations, human resources, talent acquisition and business development
  • Work with talent acquisition team to organize data and resumes and to schedule interviews
  • Prepare onboarding materials such as welcome folders and swag bags
  • Draft communications and upload to SharePoint site
  • Coordinate and support business operations such as budget development, monthly review meetings, and opportunities databases
  • Monitor and create content for the company's social media pages, including developing graphics
  • Provide proposal support to the Business Development team
  • Provide marketing and business intelligence support

Requirements
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a corporate office environment, experience supporting a federal contracting firm a plus
  • Team player, willingness to take on tasks in any area of need
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Initiative, curiosity, and desire to learn and grow in government contracting
