Evolent Health is searching for a Market President that can be the key market-facing leader within an established Evolent market. This individual will play a critical role in executing Evolent Health's mission to transform the way health care is delivered across the country. As the market leader this executive will have responsibility for the overall operations of a client health plan and serve as the overall relationship lead with the partner. This role will be dedicated to Medicaid Managed Care Organization (s).
The Market President is responsible for leading and managing all aspects and activities of the overall operations of the health plan managed under the Evolent / Client Health Plan relationship, which includes: leading a cross-functional team and driving operational performance spanning: Claims, Enrollment, Finance, Payment Integrity, Configuration, Provider Data Management, Encounters, Customer Service, Reporting & Analytics, Utilization Management, and more. In addition to operational performance, the Market President will partner with client on their strategic priorities while monitoring the regulatory landscape and policies. The Market President will represent Evolent at executive committees and be responsible for establishing annual growth strategies. The Market President will report to the Regional Market President.
+ Accountable for all aspects of client relationship and satisfaction for 1-2 Medicaid partners
+ Owns performance to budget and P&L for the Market
+ Responsible for revenue growth and developing unplanned revenue goals and strategy
+ Required to drive improvements to operations and owns operational performance externally
+ Liaise with functional leads and implementation leads for appropriate prioritization and escalations
+ Facilitates cross-functional knowledge sharing and best practices within and amongst Market/Product/central support teams
+ Drive culture and CCOM team engagement
+ Manages and develops the Market Ops team
+ Serves as Executive partner to the client
+ Represents partner priorities to internal executive Evolent and EHS stakeholders
+ Understands broader external market factors and leverages to drive strategy
**Preferred Experience We Look For:**
+ 8+ years of experience in a leadership position within the health plan administration function or in managed care operations
+ Experience in Medicaid Managed Care
+ Experience leading teams and developing talent
+ Experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, solving problems and issues, managing resources in a matrix environment, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels of the organization
+ Experience managing C-suite relationships
+ Broad knowledge of health insurance and services delivery and functions
+ Demonstrated successes in managing challenging and complex relationships
+ Demonstrated successes in driving health plan quality improvement
+ Experience with care management, clinical initiatives, and integration of clinical and operations
+ Experience with value based care
+ Strong negotiation, contracting, and same store growth successes
+ Experience identifying revenue and/or cost reduction opportunities for health plans

**Technical requirements:**
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 MBPS and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range:
The typical range of employees within the compensation grade of this position is $190,000 - $210,000. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
