Job description

Description

FI Consulting is seeking a full-time relationship building recruiter to support our fast-paced recruiting process from start to finish. The work will be done in our Arlington, VA headquarters with some remote flexibility.

For more than 19 years, financial institutions in the Federal, private and public sectors have called on FI Consulting to address complex and high-stakes analytical challenges that are closely scrutinized by executives, auditors, regulators and stakeholders. We help clients succeed by applying our core strengths in business applications of Data Engineering, Analytics, Modeling, and Business Architecture to gain insight into finances, loans, performance, manage risk, and improve operations. We seek a recruiter who understands how to and who to recruit for positions in a specialized consulting firm.

FI Consulting is a fast-moving, high-growth firm with huge potential. FI offers variety, challenge, responsibility, and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential.

You as the successful candidate for this role will have a consultant mindset. You are a builder of relationships. You will consider every hiring manager as a client and each candidate as a potential client. You will have experience working with small teams of highly trained talent within a culture of feedback.

You will understand that recruiting the right person begins with understanding the role, to clearly articulate what we want, then finding and testing candidates to determine those that are potential fits for our work culture. It is imperative that you understand the needs for each position to ensure a quality hire.

You must be willing to learn our hiring methods that help us identify the right people for the right roles with the right expectations. At FI, we hire for long-term fit with our culture, not just for individual project assignments. You must be open to learning each roles required education, security requirements, technical skills and bill rate. By asking the right questions, you will naturally attract those who are a better fit and discourage those who are not.

You must be able to set expectations for potential candidates and identifying candidates who are or have the potential to be effective in consulting: able to listen well; logical problem-solvers; ability to communicate problems and solutions clearly and credibly. It is essential you align with our Core Values.

This team building position reports to the Director of Talent Management who is looking for an exciting team member to share in the adventure.
