Special Security Representative Program Tech - MID: Special Security branch

ANTICIPATED START DATE: March 2022

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly

Place of Performance: Herbert R. Temple Jr. Army National Guard Readiness Center (TARC), Arlington, VA and the Pentagon

Celestar Corporation, a company which proudly provides 100% of employee health care premiums, is seeking a Special Security Representative- MID: Special Security Branch to support the National Guard Bureau J2.

Duties:

• Maintain applicable Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to adequately discharge Special Security Representative (SSR) services and responsibilities for approximately 100 personnel in accordance with DoDM 5105.21.
• Properly account for, control, transmit, transport, package, and safeguard SCI.
• Provide for destruction of SCI by authorized means as appropriate.
• Conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefs, non-disclosure agreements, and other security training and documentation.
• Assist with inspections, construction, and maintenance of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) via phone calls, email video conference and in- person staff assistance visits.
• Provide briefings on local SCI security procedures to newly-arrived personnel and those receiving initial SCI indoctrination.
• Emphasize unauthorized disclosure and awareness, management, and reporting during indoctrination and termination briefings and day-to-day security program execution.
• Assist the Special Security Officer (SSO) as the official channel for sending and receiving SCI visitor clearances and accesses in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). Contractor shall maintain DISS to accurately reflect all personnel under NGB-J24 cognizance.
• Assist the SSO in managing two conference rooms located inside NGB J2's SCIF.
• Manage daily SCI video-teleconferencing in support of NGB senior leadership.
• Manage conference room requests and deconflict meetings requested to ensure classified information is protected at all times.
• Support TS-SCI communications during CNGB travel as SSR for temporary secure areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience with at least a portion performing relevant duties in the past 2 years

• Bachelor's Degree
