Business Analyst

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Business Analyst for a contract position in Chester, VA. Opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• This position is responsible for the capture, collection and translation
• of business needs into business requirements from all stakeholders. This position will also analyze and report
• on all sourcing related data to include sourcing metrics, cost analysis, market trends and findings etc. This
• position will function as technical scribe during critical RFP evaluations, negotiations, cross-functional
• requirements building activities etc. This position will develop and implement processes, policies and tools to
• manage and ensure consistency in the management of RFP requirements, sourcing documents and
• stakeholder management across all service towers and promote continuity of operations. This position will
• also be responsible for the coordination of all sourcing related activities. This position will work
• collaboratively with the platform sourcing specialist, commercial contract managers, client's service owners and
• financial representatives to ensure consistent requirements documentation and management across service towers.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in data analysis, report writing, requirements development and management, knowledge of and skilled in project management, process and workflow development;
• ability to work independently with limited supervision; ability to work with all levels of staff and the general public;
• ability to communicate effectively in both orally and in written form;
• Bachelors degree, preferably in business, information systems or related field preferred or a combination of training and experience may substitute for college degree.
• Experience in IT goods and services is beneficial.
