The Tactical Space Systems Division is looking for an Engineering Aide to assist with data management within the Analysis & Thermal group in Dulles, VA.
Essential Functions:
Document creation and management
Database creation and maintenance
Compilation of comprehensive parts lists using information from Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, online databases, and data from subcontractors and suppliers
Spreadsheet organization and extraction
Obsolescence monitoring and report generation
Candidate must be comfortable with meeting deadlines, working on multiple projects concurrently, and working with various engineering disciplines and customers as required to build data product. The candidate may be occasionally requested to assist with work in a laboratory environment.\
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
This requisition may be filled at either an Engineering Aide 2 level or Principal Engineering Aide 3 level.
Basic Qualifications for Engineering Aide 2:
AA degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 years experience. - Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of software, including SharePoint.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineering Aide 3:
AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of software, including SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering Associates Degree.
Database software.
Proficiency in understanding and extracting information from specifications (NAS, SAE, MS, etc.).
Basic Understanding of principles of design.
Matlab basic knowledge.
General knowledge of mechanical assemblies and piece part
Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Salary Range: 49000 - 81600
Salary Range 2: 58300 - 97100
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
