Job Description:
Seneca Global Services is seeking a highly motivated Property Manager to support our government client headquartered in Falls Church, VA. This position provides critical programmatic support to the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) and its three stateside regional health commands.
The National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2017 directed the military departments to transfer the administration of military treatment facilities (MTF) to the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The intent of this legislation was to eliminate duplication of effort, maximize efficiencies, and reduce headquarters personnel. Congress directed these changes to streamline the delivery of the health benefit while enabling the military departments to focus on readiness.
The Property Manager will serve as the primary Contractor POC through which the site PBO/Responsible Officer (RO) will coordinate Government requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Requirements:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of supply program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to Supply/Property Book Accountability and supply areas of logistics operations
- Firm knowledge and ability to effectively use the Global Combat Support System - Army (GCCS-A).
- At least three years of experience managing an Army property book required.
- Ability to correctly execute Army property accountability forms.
- Able to lift at least 50lbs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience with the Military Healthcare System, specifically U.S. Army Medical Command, is preferred.
