Award winning commercial general contractor looking to hire an APM for upcoming new build projects in VA.

A Top 20 rated ENR General Contractor based in Loudoun County are looking to hire an APM that has the desire to join the organizations fast-track Project Manager program where you gain valuable skills in pre-construction, field management and project management. This commercial construction general contractor currently has around 80 employees and are experiencing significant growth as we head into 2022. Your new role:

As an Assistant Project Manager you will be providing an excellent support to a Project Management team, working on construction projects from start to finish. You will have exposure to planning, scheduling, cost control, subcontractor solicitation and buyout as well as all construction documentation and administration to ensure the retail projects are delivered on time and within budget.

This organization take pride in developing the skill set of their employees. Upon joining, you will be enrolled into their 'university type' program which are a series of modules ran by senior managers and executives, advising how you can develop your core project management skills. You will also be able to work in the preconstruction division and on site to boost your knowledge.

The construction projects can vary from new build ranging from office builds, healthcare facilities, data centers and education centers to heavy renovations and interiors in commercial real estate and government properties. You will have the chance to work on a variety of construction projects with this employer.

What you'll need to succeed:

My client is interested in talking to Assistant Project Managers with 2-5 years in commercial construction experience or professionals who are currently working for a subcontractor who are looking for a step up in their career through joining a general contractor. A college degree in construction, engineering, or similar is required and your commitment to delivering high quality projects is a must.
