About the Opportunity:
DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a IT Business Analyst

DMI is seeking an organized, efficient, and communicative liaison to coordinate between our customer's business and enterprise IT organization. Our customer is a leading automotive manufacturer in North America. In this role, you will act as the single point of contact person between the Connected Services business team and other entities of the enterprise IT organization to streamline operations, resolve issues, product launch, improve communications, and generally ensure that the relationship is as beneficial as possible. This role is a high visibility role both within the business organization as well as the IT organization.

Duties and Responsibility:

Maintain thorough understanding of Connected Services business, technology landscape as well as anticipating how the technology changes impacts the business

Monitor, coordinate, and communicate the strategic objectives of the business to IT

Collaborate and communicate successfully with other entities outside of the business

Work with other staff members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise

Develop and foster relationships with the business, IT stakeholders and other entities

Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the business and the other entity

Compile reports about particular incidents, events, or updates about an important issue for the business

Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and the other entity

Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary

Act as a positive representation of the business organization to IT and as well as positive representation of the IT organization to business

Qualifications:

Desired Skills/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent

5+ years' experience in a product development or systems engineering role within enterprise IT organization

Experience working within enterprise IT organization as well as exposure to business stakeholders

Should have worked previously in a liaison capacity between the IT and business teams

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specification

Technical skills including understanding software systems and products, experience testing or verifying software meets acceptance criteria

Strong leadership and technical skills to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders

Customer-oriented attitude

Ability to establish and nurture business relationships

Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees.

Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems

Capability to negotiate with and influence others

Analytically and mathematically minded to analyze data and create necessary reports

The desire to be part of, and contribute to, a team with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with IT and business teams.

Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Additional Requirement(s):

Experience with automotive connected vehicle, Internet-of-Things, vehicle infotainment products, mobile apps and/or customer web portals

Experience capturing and managing software requirements as User Stories

Experience creating release notes, user documentation, and/or training materials

Experience writing a requirements specification or statement of work
