Position Description:

SAIC's has an opening for a Financial Analyst that will be an integral part of the Defense & Civilian Sector FP&A Team. This position will drive timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting for a Sector with ~$5B in annual revenue.

This position has a temporary remote option for those local to the Northern Virginia/Capital Region, with the understanding there will be a return to some on-site (hybrid) in the future.

This is an ideal opportunity for people at the early stage of their career and is designed to develop a strong foundation in Business Finance and FP&A. There will be opportunities to interact with senior finance and other functional business leaders through various cross-functional team engagement projects. You will gain valuable experience to accelerate your learning and make a real impact on our business. In addition, there will be opportunities to grow into other roles within the Finance team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 1 year of related work experience
* Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel skills
* Ability to interact effectively with all levels of associates and business partners
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organization, self-motivation, and time management skills required with ability to prioritize priorities and effectively manage deadlines
* Analytical skills, critical thinking, communication skills, attention to detail, and time management are critical to this position
* Demonstrated experience working within a team to deliver measurable results

Desired Qualifications:

* Familiarity with Financial Modeling and an understanding of government contracting

Target salary range: $65,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
