The HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Caliburn International is recognized. Responsibilities

* Ensures employees are appropriately onboarded and indoctrinated into Caliburn culture and values
* Manages and resolves complex employee issues throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to post-termination
* Maintains in-depth knowledge or legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
* Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors (e.g. coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions) in partnership with Employee Relations
* Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
* Identifies training needs for assigned business practices in partnership with Learning & Development
* Conducts weekly meetings with assigned business practices and management

Job Requirements

* Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Human Resources or related field
* Experience working with geographically separated employees including international employees
* Strong skills with computer and common office equipment including all Microsoft Office products
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation skills including good punctuation, spelling, grammar, and attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
* Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues
* Ability to research and analyze various types of data
* Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problem or issues by using judgement that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law
* Ability to organize and prioritize work

Desired Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
* SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification
* Strong written and oral presentation skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent organization skills
* Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
* Strong initiative
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Physical Requirements

* Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
* Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.

Good eye/hand coordination required.
