At CarMax, if you speak the language of data-driven optimizations, creating innovative efficiencies and program improvement, we want to speak to you.Purpose of the role:This role will play a critical part in our paid search program by partnering with our talented internal team members and external vendors to drive innovation in paid search. If you are inspired to deliver results and want to raise the bar on cross functional projects, this position will allow you to make a huge impact on the organization.Your day to day will be working with one of the largest paid search budgets in the automotive industry and in close partnership with platform holders. If you want to be a part of what is next in automotive search, CarMax is the place to be.What you will do:Partner closely on the paid search strategy function with external agency, platform holders and the paid search manager.Add a unique perspective to a thriving, collaborative & analytically driven group of digital marketers. These are the smartest people in the room.Own budgeting and pacing to ensure SEM is on track to reach monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets. This is the chance to work with some of the biggest budgets in the industry.Proactively identify new projects and champion them within the team's backlog of tests and ideas.Manage relationships, influence stakeholders and department leaders.Partner with a dedicated Search Analytics team to turn insight into action.Requirements:3-5 years of hands-on experience in paid search programs from execution to optimization and reporting.A strong understanding of paid search measurement and valuation.Relentlessly curious - enjoys taking on challenges, even if they don't work out.Thrives in a collaborative team setting & working toward a common goal.Great communication and stakeholder management skills.About CarMaxCarMax disrupted the auto industry by delivering the honest, transparent and high-integrity experience customers want and deserve.
