We offer a wide gamut of consulting solutions customized to our 450+ clients ranging from Fortune 500/1000 to Start-ups across various verticals like Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, Energy, Retail, Telecom, Utilities, Technology, Manufacturing, the Internet, and Engineering.

Junior Linux Systems Admin
Duration: 12 month(s) with possible extensions
Location: Dulles, VA (Hybrid Work Model)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Solid experience monitoring enterprise-level infrastructure using various internal and 3rd party monitoring tools.
• Experience maintaining, managing and monitoring remote servers running Linux.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS and internet protocols along with practical understanding of Internet routing and related networking technologies.
• Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting using traceroutes, pings, and Catchpoint.
• Ability to quickly and efficiently address issues or escalating to other internal support groups when necessary.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with respective teams and technical personnel in high-stress situations.
• Prior experience with ticketing software such as Service Now, BMC Remedy, or Jira.
• Flexible to work different shifts as needed in a 24/7/365 NOC environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years professional experience working as a NOC engineer, applications support or Jr. Sysadmin role.
• Bachelor's Degree degree in a computer related field.
• Certifications such as Linux+, LFCS or equivalent are preferred
• Familiarity with one or more programming/scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl and C++..
• Working Knowledge of a Content Delivery Network or web hosting company
• Strong customer service skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
