Job description

Capstone ISG is actively hiring a self-motivated Recruiting Specialist to join our company. The Recruiting Specialist will partner with hiring managers to understand their business needs and develop a pipeline of talent for current and future hiring throughout the organization.

In this position, you will manage the candidate relationship and be responsible to locate, source, and recruit appropriate professional-level, technical talent per the company's needs. This position will have a heavy emphasis on sourcing experienced candidates! Remote work will be considered for this role, but a qualified candidate must be located in Hampton Roads, VA or Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Source candidates, both active and passive, through recruitment activities such as job postings, social media engagement, and local marketing.
  • Utilize various resources to maintain a talent pool including ATS, Linkedin, social media, job boards, colleges and universities.
  • Partner with hiring managers at all levels to understand and support their hiring needs.
  • Support candidates throughout the process to ensure an excellent candidate experience.
  • Create compelling job ads to attract desired talent.
  • Completes required pre-screening of qualified candidates and guides hiring managers to ensure consistency in the interview and hiring process.
  • Ensures that all recruitment and selection procedures adhere to federal and state laws.
  • Accurately tracks all applicant flow within with ATS.
  • Conducts external searches through strategic sourcing (networking, cold calling, etc.)
  • Identifies, develops and implements new sourcing strategies to find and attract desired passive candidates
  • Utilizes online social and professional networking sites to connect with potential passive candidates
  • Initiates direct call, email, and referral campaigns to market various opportunities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Minimum of 1 year recruiting experience
  • Extensive knowledge of cold calling, networking and internet research techniques
  • Proficient in direct sourcing using LinkedIn, websites, user groups, social media, and other recruiting tools and databases,
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and customer focus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously; set priorities and plan work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify problems and develop solutions
  • Strong computer application skills
