Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Clinical Business Analyst based out of our location in Renton, WA. This role can sit remote in the footprint of Providence in AK, WA, OR, CA, TX, and MT.
We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst to be responsible for eliciting and documenting user requirements, assessing technology requests, and validating technology solutions for assigned client groups. They work closely with assigned client groups to elicit requirements and compare technology options. They analyze current system processes to document current workflows, perform gap analysis, and develop future state workflows. May perform QA/User Acceptance Testing for new system releases. This role communicates with a wide level of stakeholders and leads small to medium sized projects.
In this position you will:
- Complete problem definition and analysis and assists in business case development.
- Lead and facilitate group discussions to elicit customer and quality requirements.
- Document user requirements, validates requirements with business customer(s) and participates with IS/vendor in system requirement development.
- Consult with regions to complete current state analysis.
- Support multiple, concurrent projects that cross divisional boundaries.
- Coordinate activities and serves as liaison between multi level users, Digital Innovations, IS and vendors to effectively communicate issues.
- Provide input on new product evaluations and comparisons for business customer review.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare/Medical Assistant (plus 4 years experience) or.
- Bachelor's Degree in such as but not limited to Public Health, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Analytics, Information Technology (plus 2 years experience).
- Associates Degree: 2 years in information technologies, healthcare administration or clinical field.
- Bachelors Degree: 1 year in information technologies, healthcare administration or clinical field.
- 1 year Experience using office software such as Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams and SharePoint.
- 1 year Business Analysis or related experience.
- 1 year Project Management experience.
- 1 year Experience using electronic health record applications, and specifically Epic.
- Knowledge and understanding of ambulatory clinical practices, operations, and healthcare quality standards as well as the patient experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate group discussions to elicit and prioritize clinical, operational, regulatory, and quality requirements.
