The Business Development Manager will negotiate and manage commercial agreements with mobile operators thoughout the world, securing network access for T-Mobile's international roamers.

Responsibilities

  • Structure and drive strategic partnerships, business opportunities, and relationships via a) identifying and analyzing complex market/business opportunities, b) evaluating key players, technologies, and products, c) creating economic/financial/business models, and d) developing financially-sound recommendations for T-Mobile to pursue
  • Continuously monitor financial performance of partner agreements, to ensure partners (and T-Mobile) adhere to revenue and/or expense targets (and other key commercial terms)
  • Negotiate and execute contracts with new/existing partners and manage the evolution of these contracts
  • Assist with customer troubleshooting and resolution of billing and/or other operational issues
  • Manage relationships with T-Mobile internal customers/functional partners
  • Develop domain expertise in sectors vital to T-Mobile's core strategy. Provide strategic analysis and guidance for a multitude of sectors and domains. Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., to cross-functional teams

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, business development, partner relations, and/ or alliance management
  • Strong experience in complex problem-solving and financial/economic analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field preferred


Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
