Job description

Bungie is seeking a motivated and skillful results-driven Recruiter to help continue our success in building high performing, passionate, and innovative teams responsible for creating amazing experiences like Halo to Destiny. Our studio needs a Recruiter who will play a key role in growing the business as a fully independent game studio. Our ideal candidate will aid in bridging the gap between opening and offer, one candidate at a time. You will partner closely with hiring managers to help develop, deliver, and execute an inclusive and diverse talent strategy plan that aligns with Bungie's growth plans. You will also help to provide critical talent insights to help inform and influence our recruitment process, hiring philosophies, and overall assessment practices.

This position is available for full-time remote work in CA, FL, IL, NC, TX, and WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn to drive and manage the full cycle recruitment process across technical hiring teams (sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending and closing offers)
• Navigate a highly complex and competitive hiring environment with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow process
• Learn to implement targeted sourcing initiatives utilizing a variety of tools including LinkedIn, Boolean, Hiretual, Chrome Extensions, and other internet research tactics
• Communicate clearly and effectively with engineering leaders on the status of open positions, candidates in process, and progress against hiring goals
• Advise and provide counsel to hiring managers and internal stake holders on all aspects of the hiring process while operating in a rapidly changing environment
• Act as an employment brand ambassador attending job fairs, conventions, industry events and conferences such as college career fairs, Grace Hopper Celebration, and GDC
• Keep detailed and accurate notes of candidate activity within an applicant tracking system (ATS)

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience supporting recruiting efforts in an engineering, scientific, or IT-related organization
• Experience speaking with and assessing candidates' skills and qualifications
• Ability to discern candidate motivators and craft a personalized value proposition to match
• Promote diverse and inclusive hiring practices; ability to identify high-performing and diverse talent
• Basic understanding of Boolean Logic, social platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, etc.), and other online tools (such as Gem, RecTxt, Prelude, etc.)
• Capable of building proactive talent pipelines that deliver hires across current and future needs
• Ability to craft compelling and persuasive candidate outreach
• High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining an ATS, metrics and reporting

In 2022, most Bungie employees will adopt a flexible schedule working from home part time (outside of positions identified as either 100% onsite or fully remote in CA, FL, IL, NC, TX, and WA). Currently only a select range of positions are available for full-time remote work in CA, FL, IL, NC, TX, and WA (please review location for details). Prospective employees located outside of CA, FL, IL, NC, TX, and WA will need to establish residency in one of the states we are compliant in within 45 days of a start date.
