Overview
We are looking to add two (2) new team members to our amazing Employee Engagement team. Our new team members will share our customer service mindset and employ exceptional communication skills and bring a strong sense of integrity to the role. In this role you'll work alongside our Employee Engagement team members to provide the day-to-day administrative support for human resources operations. Additionally, you will help support our recruiting activities, maintain data integrity in HR systems, including data entry, provide administrative support for our Drug & Alcohol Program and be the first point of HR contact for our employees and future employees.

Essential Duties
Carries out a wide range of duties critical to maintenance and processing of personnel actions, records and reports. Performs HRIS data entry and employee file maintenance (electronic and manual). Many transactions are time sensitive in nature and directly impact employee engagement. Provides support while protecting the confidentiality of sensitive or privileged information. Resolves common difficulties for employees. Assists with hiring and staffing activities such as scheduling interviews, testing, including drug & alcohol, proctors tests. Produces interview packets by coordinating and compiling documents, example prints application, resumes and test results, etc. Communicates with others regarding assigned program activities involving sensitive or privileged information. Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Provides clerical and operational support to other human resource staff. Creates Personnel Action Forms (PAFs), directs correspondence from internal and external sources to correct HR team member, assists with various projects as assigned. Supports HRG with Drug & Alcohol program. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information. Maintains departmental files for various documents and correspondence. Safely performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of progressively responsible general administrative experience. (May substitute an Associate's degree in office occupations or business or closely related field for 18 months of this experience). A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or directly related field may substitute for 36 months of experience. Two years' experience performing highly detailed work involving sensitive or privileged information. For example, payroll, legal or medical data, test administration, recruiting and staffing, drug policy administration, grievance handling or substantially similar duties.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR KNOWLEDGE AND SILLS:
Qualification to enter this position requires knowledge of the following:
Word, mail merge functions, formatting, use of tables, and other activities generally associated with intermediate proficiency. Excel, with the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, graphs and reports, including pivot tables and linked worksheets. Grammar, punctuation, spelling. Time management, including priority setting and resetting. Group scheduling software applications including email. General office practices, correspondence and filing. Procedures for handling privileged or confidential documents. Principles of customer service, particularly in handling customer complaints.
Qualification to enter this position requires skill in:
Communication in English, in writing or verbally. Attention to detail to identify and correct errors. Working with teams. Persevere in difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. Respond with flexibility to changing priorities. Work well independently and in teams. Communicate about deadlines. Learn new assignments quickly. Exercise good judgment, to discern when to take problems to a higher authority for resolution or guidance.
Physical Requirements:
Pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, repetitive motions.Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to a negligible amount of force frequently to move objects.
