Requisition Summary

The SAP Financial Business Analyst is a key member of the team leading the transformation of PACCAR's legacy accounting systems. This position acts as an SAP Subject Matter Expert in Accounting, supporting the current SAP platform and ongoing SAP project implementation from a business perspective. The position works with PACCAR Parts to develop best-in-class financial system solutions and create standard business processes. Major areas supported include: General ledger, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, Account Receivable, Inventory, Forecast and Internal Controls. This position reports to Director of General Accounting.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Responsible for solving complex problems and design, test and implement solutions for the SAP GL, AP and Procurement modules
• Challenge and critique current business processes
• Facilitate cross-divisional meetings, workshops and training/testing events
• Support of SAP implementation at various locations
• Development and execution of detailed system test plans
• Development and execution of end user training
• Management of data migration from legacy accounting systems to SAP including definition of data requirements and validation of actual data migrated
• Development of system documentation
• Support Business users through system cutover and after go-live support

Qualifications

• BS / BA in Accounting or Finance
• MBA preferred
• 3 - 5 years of SAP experience with accounting modules and system conversions
• Ability to influence and work with employees at all levels of the organization
• Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary
• Must be a self-starter, able to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and Internal Control
• Possible travel to domestic and international locations
