Summary
Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time 1.0 FTE Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our WPMG HQ team in Renton, Washington.

JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. HR Generalist is a front-line member of the Human Resources team who provides guidance, assistance and support to management, supervisors and administrators. Responsibilities include program oversight and administration of the talent management system (SilkRoad) and system processes. The role partners with WPMG Business Data Analyst, KFHPWA IAM, IT, Communications and SilkRoad consultants to oversee the system's functions. Additional job duties include consulting with chiefs and leadership concerning individual employees or groups, identifying and resolving employee related matters such as workplace accommodations, PA practice plans, privacy investigations, open encounters and patient satisfaction tracking support. The Sr. HR Generalist may conduct employment exit interviews, periodic check ins with new hires and selected performance management responsibilities. The position partners with the HR team and clinical leadership to support the needs of the medical group and is the back-up to the HR Business Partners.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Management Program System
- System implementation and program lead for the talent management system (SilkRoad); design, build and maintain review types for clinical, administrative, and leadership staff. Built and design template for IDP processes.
- Partners with WPMG Business Data Analyst, KFHPWA IAM, IT, Communications departments and SilkRoad support, consultants, and trainers to administers and oversee the systems functions.
- Oversee, develop and monitor WPMG's performance annual associate and shareholder clinical review processes, development plans, locums reviews, Board of Directors and Presidents Reviews. Partners with HR Coordinator for the administrative and leadership review and goal processes.
- Provides consultation and feedback on WPMG's employee performance review processes.
- Develops job aids and resources for reviews, development plans, and goal processes.
- Develops ad hoc reports for performance clinical reviews and development plans.
Accommodations
- Advise clinical leadership on job related accommodation:
- Work with staff and chiefs in interactive process for accommodation
- Ongoing case management of updated accommodation plans
- Return to work plan management
- Pumping accommodation administration
Privacy Compliance
- Partnership with the KFHPWA privacy office; consults with HRBP on escalated cases.
- Coordinates and investigates privacy and/or policy violations related to: Epic access, HIPAA, UO reports, email security escalations, and Care Everywhere Authorizations
- Respond to privacy concerns and educates staff regarding violation, provides written or verbal counsel regarding WPMG and KPWA policies.
- Recommends case closure
Partnership
- Develop effective working relationships with clinical leadership and clinical operations managers to support business objectives
- Work in partnership to implement department initiatives, policies, practices, and department work plans
- Work with other departments to promote chief training, leadership development and change management
- Partner with legal counsel as needed
- Works with HRBP to provide performance management support, to include in investigations
Miscellaneous
- Ad hoc project management of periodic, long or short-term assignments
- Updates and maintains HR Intranet pages
- Work in partnership with the recruiting department to manage PA practice plan application and maintenance
- Track and monitors open encounters weekly for WPMG compliance
- Conduct 90-day check-ins with new hire Associate staff
- Provide individual reports and complex ad hoc reporting requests for Press Ganey
- Annual contract review for WPMG Talent Management system (SilkRoad)
- Provide back-up to other team members
- Other duties as assigned
