Job description

Addison Whitney is a full-service branding firm, which has been credited with naming some of the most high profile brands in the world.

This position is located in our Redmond, WA office just outside of the heart of Seattle. The Business Development Associate will support both the sales and production sides of our organization to prospect and drive new client brand work and will work directly with other Addison Whitney project teams in multiple office locations.

The position requires a graduate degree and 2-4 years of direct sales and business development, with marketing or agency experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • Primary function is to generate new business opportunities through targeted outbound sales calls with prospective clients.
  • Develop trust-based relationships with current clients and prospect contacts.
  • Average 100 calls a week to new or existing accounts.
  • 150-200 follow-up e-mails a week in pursuit of proposals and pipeline closure.
  • Work with the marketing department to create and manage outbound marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain internal databases with all current prospect and client information, continuously updating and improving our client base.
  • Track contacts, leads, opportunities and other information in Salesforce database.
  • Create and deliver sales pitches and prospecting materials (emails, flyers, slides) to potential clients.

  • Ability to adhere to multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Professional attitude.

What May Help You Stand Out:
Any of the following attributes would be a plus, but are not required:

  • Prior experience in marketing, brand management or product management.
  • History with the technology industry, specifically Microsoft.
  • Experience with face-to-face or conference presentations and meetings with clients.

Compensation: This position is sales focused and consists of a base salary and incentive commission structure.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
