This role will be responsible for supporting Patient Operations Systems and Integrations (POSI), a team of 14 people, in leading and administering applications that support internal business functions. You will have to be detail-oriented, organized and communicative in a collaborative role while also using your creativity to think outside of the box on how the team can better leverage and streamline their tools and processes. This position requires a self-directed individual that investigates, develops, and supports processes to use the tools that the POSI team will use for roadmap development, requirements capturing, backlog management and communications.

In addition to having application support experience, you will work with the BMS IT team to communicate the POSI needs and implement new features that the POSI team can utilize in their day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain existing POSI applications/tools including SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Ensure tools and dashboards (used by POSI) are maintained and align with business needs
    • Perform research and lead the implementation of additional tools improvements and add-ons
    • As the POSI Jira owner, work with BMS Jira experts to ensure Jira contains the required fields and functionality to meet business needs.
    • Report on, organize, and maintain Jira backlog by working closely with Product Management leads.
    • Maintain Product Management Confluence and SharePoint dashboards
    • Work collaboratively with Product Management team on all tool enhancements
    • Document and establish visuals for POSI processes to include roadmap and prioritization updates, building team consensus and cross team communication tools
  • Research new and alternative tools to enhance Product Management team productivity
  • Partner with BMS IT to launch new tools for the Product Management team
  • Support implementation of product management features by drafting timeline and communication plan to relevant stakeholders
  • Obtain working knowledge of the systems supported by POSI
  • Provide cross POSI team coverage during busy times and support onboarding new POSI people by partnering closely with POSI hiring manager and creating onboarding tools/materials


Required Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of Agile software development/product management business support
  • 2+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence or other Agile backlog/story tools
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus on and drive for results.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks
  • Experience in Life Sciences or Cell Therapy
  • Experience in GMP environment
  • Experience in Smartsheets
  • Experience in supporting or implementing applications for a team
