Job description

Provides overall support and administration of online banking, mobile banking, mobile deposit capture, bill pay, remote deposit capture and treasury management products for Seattle Bank retail, commercial and private banking business lines with the underlying objective of enhancing sales and service effectiveness. Serves as day to day contact and subject matter expert for designated in house product lines and/or outsourced third-party alliance programs including but not limited to VISA and Merchant Services. Maintains customer files, vendor relationships, and product/equipment inventory. Works with the client and TMS Specialist for set up, installation and training of Remote Deposit Capture and TMS Services. Performs due diligence for product and limit approvals, and performs risk assessments, annual reviews and site visits. Conducts research and analysis of market trends and product features, seeking out and recommending continued opportunities for product and process improvements. Conducts product and operational training for sales personnel and the client service team. Supports strategic marketing and sales initiatives by creating and reviewing sales and usage performance reports. Provides back up coverage for Bank Operations and Community Financial Centers including in participating in Saturday coverage rotation. Actively participates in Bank Operations special projects and initiatives, and team and department meetings. All activities are performed consistent with Seattle Bank ECLIPSE values, business objectives and budget expectations. Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Essential duties
1) Administers Treasury Management Program (TMP) due diligence, site visits and annual reviews. Evaluates business financial statements, credit history, business operating activities, and banking history. Works with senior/executive management on accounts requiring escalated credit review. In conjunction with the Bank Operations Manager and Chief Deposit Officer, performs annual risk assessments. Tracks and ensures that annual reviews and site visits for active TMP customers are conducted in accordance to policy. Maintains TMS client files ensuring all proper paperwork and documentation is completed and up to date, including current authorized signers and limits. Installation and training of Remote Deposit Capture service and equipment. Maintain equipment inventory control and log.

2) Product matter expert on Business and Retail online banking, mobile banking, mobile deposit capture, remote deposit capture, Bill Pay and treasury management products including ACH, Wires and Positive Pay. Complete proper set up of online banking for business and TMS clients. Maintain token inventory. Train branch staff on Access Manager to assist clients with online banking set up, problem solving, password resets and overall usage. Participate in client presentations as needed. Take initiative to contact vendors for support as needed.

3) Oversees the Deposit review functions for mobile deposit capture and remote deposit capture and approves or rejects checks as needed, and increases limits with proper due diligence and approval.

4) Creates sales and usage performance reports and monthly analytical summaries for senior and executive management. Reviews usage reports for trends, sales opportunities and risk awareness, and makes appropriate suggestions. May be asked to prepare TMS proformas and proposals, and industry product and fee shops.

5) Creates product procedures and forms, checklists, job aids, and marketing one sheets as needed. Provides communication and training to branch staff and relationship managers. May be asked to give presentations at the All Employee meetings and/or Board of Director meetings.

6) Actively participates in team and department projects and at times, may act as project manager.

7) Serves as day to day contact and subject matter expert for outsourced third-party alliance programs including but not limited to VISA and Merchant Services. Administers back office functions and monthly reporting.

8) Provides back up coverage to the Bank Operations team and Community Financial Center which may include bank branch duties such as opening accounts or performing teller duties, and participates in the Saturday online banking coverage rotation.
Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in business, finance, or accounting. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
  • 3 to 5 years of in-depth experience with either Treasury Management products, Electronic Banking products or Business Banking products.
  • Strong computer systems and technical skills understanding different computer and accounting software options. Ability to effectively utilize computer technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills and problem solving skills. Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations, and implement a solution quickly.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of business banking products including ACH, Wires, processing of payroll, positive pay and zero balance sweep accounts.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret business financials and bank statements.
  • Must be a self-starter, and have the ability to take ownership of high profile relationships with minimal supervision while effectively communicating with senior management.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to listen effectively to the issues of customers and employees.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
