Position - Wealth Manager and 401(k) Advisor
A Wealth Manager and 401(k) Advisor is responsible for servicing existing clients and for bringing in and generating new private wealth and/or institutional revenues through lead generation, working with prospects and identified centers of influence. This includes generating referrals and leads and qualifying those opportunities which can be best serviced by the firm through a clear understanding of the client's needs and closing that business through professional skills and relationship building. The advisor will be directly responsible for all critical one-on-one contact with the clients. (Service and support staff will carry out most routine contact on the advisor's behalf. Support staff will be licensed to provide a full array of services and the consultant will have full consulting/client service back-up when on leave, vacation, or when out of the area).

Skills, experience and expectations:
- Personable, ethical, client-oriented, trustworthy professional that portrays the firm's image and seeks long-term relationship with clients and firm
- A proven ability to network with strategic alliances, community leaders, advisor and referral sources
- Strong knowledge of investment management, advanced life insurance markets and/or retirement plan consulting
- Involved in community organizations, preferably in leadership positions
- Demonstrated success throughout career with quantifiable new business development results
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with excellent presentation skills

Responsibilities:
- Meet with prospective clients and assist them in defining objectives for investment management services (personal and institutional)
- Meeting with and building new referral relationships with intermediaries to private wealth clients - 15 to 20 meetings each week to discuss IFC Value Proposition
- Referring private wealth clients to outside strategic alliances for services as needed and coordinating with those outside professionals
- Coordinating with the firm's team for meetings with prospects and referral sources. Coordinate all written and verbal communication with the internal team; this is also applicable for any prospecting activity that that may require team interaction. Provide direction to the internal team for sales process support.
- Attend firm-sponsored activities and community events
- Responsible for ongoing client relations and client presentations on a quarterly, or as agreed, basis
- Responsible for briefing support person(s) and operations with any requirements for change or service following client meetings
Requirements:
- Series 65 completion or Series 7 and 66
- Life/Disability Insurance license
- Exclusive insurance appointments with IFC
- Non-compete agreement with IFC
- Integrity and honesty in all business dealings
