As an HR Coordinator you will complete administrative duties for the People Team department. You will assist with recruitment, maintain employee records, assist with benefit processing, and provide support to the People Team department.
Responsibilities
- Support recruiters by posting jobs to website, social media channels and job boards
- Assist recruiters with researching job board options
- Scheduling interviews with hiring managers
- Assist with onboarding new hires by scheduling orientations, ensuring equipment/badges are created and verifying I-9 per Department of Labor guidelines
- Research job boards and social media channels to
- Distribute various company swag to employees
- Assist with coordinating company events
- Review and reconcile benefits invoices to ensure accuracy
- Support HR team with Driver certification process
- Support the team by coordinating various initiatives like COVID tracking, goal setting, performance reviews, etc.
- Act as back-up to the front desk ensuring phone calls are routed properly, greeting visitors, distributing mail and packages as needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, psychology, HR or a related field is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Recruiting and/or Human Resources is preferred but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment. Requires frequent use of computers, keyboarding and talking on the telephone. Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, bend, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms. Regularly lifts up to 20 pounds and walks, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within the facility. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
