Job description
PSR Mechanical's Project Managers create effective commercial and industrial HVAC and energy solutions for our clients. The ability to grow long term business relationships is accomplished by showing personal interest in our clients' building asset strategy, and by proactively demonstrating energy efficiency and facility improvement projects which yield a positive return on investment consistent with our client's objectives.
Project Managers also coordinate interaction between clients and other company departments.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop qualified prospects through referral from PSR's extensive customer base, client capital plans, energy and sustainability initiatives, and networking
- Establish client rapport and identify needs. Demonstrate critical listening skills
- Utilize extensive company internal and external technical resources, as needed, to develop opportunities
- Use company selling systems to survey, estimate and develop rich, client centric proposals
- Make effective sales presentations to individuals and groups
- Drive open proposals to successful conclusion through negotiation and coordination with internal and external resources
- Maintain an active backlog of proposals using company CRM system
- Develop technical expertise, and consult with company staff and clients as needed
- Promote prospect and client engagement of company maintenance and repair services
Education, Knowledge, Skills, Certifications/ Licenses, Competencies
- One (1) year commercial HVAC project experience. Significant residential HVAC experience will be considered in lieu of commercial experience
- Understanding of the commercial HVAC industry and local marketplace
- HVAC systems technical education
- Understanding of labor estimating
- Experienced in assessing system design problems, and planning for improved system performance
- Experienced in energy efficiency applications preferred
- College degree preferred
- CEM and/or LEED AP preferred
- Control system experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Goal driven, organized, self starter
Travel and Working Conditions
- Extensive local travel to customer job sites (no overnight). Reliable transportation is required
- Project mangers work around mechanical equipment, on ladders, and throughout commercial and industrial facilities. Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 40 lbs without accommodation is required
- Project Managers develop relationship with a wide variety of individuals including skilled trades, engineers, finance and facility management executives
- PSR provides private offices. Flexible hours, and work from home are possibilities

PSR offers an excellent base salary and a lucrative monthly sales incentive program. Successful Project Managers earn well over $100,000 annually.
