Job Description:

We are looking for highly motivated inspectors in Seattle, WA!

We are looking for these inspectors to complete field inspections in the desired city or county to do work as an independent contractor. You will be assigned jobs in which you will have to travel and provide on-site inspection. You will be performing various duties that include:

• Measuring properties;
• Using those measurements to create diagrams;
• Identifying and reporting the construction at the time of the inspection and its features;
• Obtaining photos and identifying hazards that are present at the time of the inspection;
• Being able to verify protection liabilities while you are also able to provide detailed information on submission forms and being able to fill out the narratives.

To be considered, you must have reliable transportation, a digital camera, high speed internet access that requires the use of the internet explorer browser (Any other type of browser used is not operational with our system), excellent knowledge of Microsoft products (Such as Microsoft word), and a measuring wheel.

All inspectors are independent contractors and are paid per inspection. Fees range between $15 and $50 for each completed case.

Responsibilities & Duties:

The applicant must recognize the following responsibilities and duties that come with this job:

• Travel to the different locations;
• Measure the property and create a diagram with those measurements;
• Identifying construction features;
• Being able to photograph and identify hazards on the premises;
• Verify protection liabilities;
• Provide detailed information on submission forms and filling out the required narratives for these forms.

Qualifications & Skills:

The following qualifications and skills are what we are looking for in our applicant:

• Computer Literate: Knows how to navigate web browsers: Internet Explorer, Chrome, and/or Firefox, while also having the ability to use search engines along with mapping tools to obtain the correct information for the property at hand
• Communication Skills: Applicant must be capable of communicating with the insured to verify, request, or obtain information related to inspection
• Punctual: Applicant is qualified to route, schedule and cover multiple inspections a day while being able to meet the appointment times and process reports in a timely manner.
