Title: Lab Operations Associate

Requirements:

This is an on-site role.

• Scientific background (e.g., chemistry, biology, etc.) and ability to understand the critical attributes of laboratory supplies (e.g., units of measure, chemical component ID, chemical strength, etc.)

• Excellent organization and attention to detail

• Team oriented with ability to communicate on-the-fly with department members through multiple platforms (email, text, chat, MS Teams, etc.)

• Familiarity with SAP preferred

• Familiarity with Ariba Purchasing and punch-out catalogue ordering preferred

• Familiarity with eProcurement software (e.g. JAGGAER) preferred

Responsibilities:

Job Description: Lab Ordering/Supply Consultant

The Lab Ordering/Supply Consultant will support the Viral Vector Process Development (VVPD) department by assisting in ordering and stocking specialty supplies for two lab locations and by working with the scientist in the lab to maintain an up-to-date inventory

Responsibilities:

• Serve as SAP, Ariba, and chemical reagent ordering SME and point person for VVPD

• Purchase equipment and specialty lab materials and supplies for VVPD teams

• Purchase office supplies

• Purchase canteen and conference room supplies

• Track order status, delivery dates, and receipt of materials / supplies

• Serve as primary VVPD point of contact with Facilities and Lab Manager regarding new equipment and Supply Chain/Warehouse team regarding materials and stocked (point-of-use) items

• Help VVPD teams maintain up-to-date inventory system of specialty (not point-of-use) items
