Job Summary

An experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. The ability to delegate tasks as needed and to communicate in a professional manner is an absolute must. Possess a desire to mentor and develop other survey personnel and collaborate with peers.

Responsibilities:

• Ultimately responsible for fulfilling the scope of work, maintaining project schedule and achieving accuracy of the completed survey.
• Interpret record documents for boundary resolution. Calculating measurements of sites and computing easements.
• Work closely with survey crew members and drafters, provide them with clear instructions/direction while ensuring accuracy of work.
• Collaborate with Project Directors to meet schedule deadlines and understand project scope.
• Researching legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries.
• Maintain professional license and required continuing education.
• Follow company procedures and guidelines - provide feedback for change or adjustment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years minimum of field experience.
• Licensed PLS or LSIT a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to obtain own robotic equipment and vehicle. GPS is helpful, but not required.
• High integrity, ability to produce quality work, and excellent communication skills
• Strong computer skills with CAD, geography scanning, microsoft office, and land surveying software.
