Project Manager / Estimator

Summary :
The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for selling reconstruction/remodeling projects to customers that meet the need of the customer and generate a profit for the company. The position must effectively utilize basic selling skills to develop and maintain strong business relationships with targeted end-users and channel partners, with the goal of driving sales growth within the remodeling market.

Job Overview:
This position works as part of the sales/business development team to meet and exceed profitable sales and margin objectives. The Project Manager/ Estimator is responsible for developing and implementing end-user specific selling strategies to support the sales objectives.
The ability to work independently, follow up on issues, attention to detail, and professionalism are important factors in daily administration of this position.

Essential Functions :
- This position will prepare estimates and contracts in accordance with established payment terms, schedule technicians and subcontractors, order materials and prepare work orders.
- The Project Manager/ Estimator is responsible for collecting payments in accordance with the established payment terms.
- This position is responsible for managing each project from start to finish.
- Develop on-going and continuous market analysis of the remodeling market by obtaining end-user data through multiple sources such as trade periodicals and key channel customers.
- Create end-user specific selling strategies designed to increase sales and brand awareness.
- The Project Manager/ Estimator will exhibit selling skills by effectively driving sales through end-user sales negotiations and product presentations, and resolving customer issues fairly and timely in a professional manner.
- Presents strong, professional, and congenial verbal/written communication skills (e.g., tone, vocabulary, etc.)

Qualifications:
- Insurance-repair estimating experience required.
- 3-5 year of sales experience or equivalent.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, Xactimate or other estimating software
- Field sales or homeowner's insurance adjusting experience a plus
- Must have high integrity, excellent prospecting, qualifying and closing skills, and excel at selling on value (not price).
- Must have the ability to make cold-calls with ease and finesse.
- Must participate as a team player and share "best practices"
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of communication on a consistent basis and handle customers in a professional manner

- Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and area.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Construction estimating experience a plus.
