Description:

Dynamis is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the U.S. Mint in San Francisco, CA. The QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring manufacturers and component suppliers consistently meet ISO and QMS requirements. He or she will work closely with manufacturing partners to implement and maintain systems to measure and improve product quality, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction. The QA Specialist is also responsible for overseeing and auditing processes related to product inspection, test, training, supplier qualification, new product introduction, warranty, and repair as well as corrective and preventative actions.

This is a hybrid position that is open to out-of-state applicants willing to travel and includes a minimum of three days of onsite work per week.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure manufacturers and suppliers adhere to Quality Systems based on ISO 9001
  • Implement, measure and report KPIs within the manufacturing environment
  • Lead KPI review and drive discussion in Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Work with leadership to track performance against KPI's.
  • Conduct periodic audits of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Review and manage corrective and preventative actions
  • Establish and maintain a system of document and revision control
  • Support new product introduction
  • Manage and report on quality improvements
  • Manage supplier quality and qualification
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews, analyzing data and documentation.
  • Assists in the development of systematic approaches for assuring high-quality services.
  • Identifies the interface of key activities within and between the functions of the organization.
  • Participate in customer-facing activities, where appropriate, to ensure process and contract compliance, as well as assess and report program risk
  • Develop and deliver technical quality awareness training to the delivery team.
  • Foster, inspire, and motivate team members to focus on continual improvement of products, processes and systems.
  • In areas within control, makes continual improvement of products, processes and systems.
  • Review all QA related customer facing documents prior to client acceptance
  • Provide quality reports to key management officials as requested.
  • Provide proper training and documentation to team members


. Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of Quality Assurance experience
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 and/or CMMI Level 3 organization. Experience in leading that organization from a non-certified or lesser certification is a plus.
  • Experience with QMS, manufacturing processes, product inspections, vendor qualifications, and audits
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor (or similar) certification is a plus.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing or Transportation/Safety industry is a plus.
  • Competency in SharePoint workflow development and other SharePoint collaboration features a plus
  • PMP certification experience is a plus
