The Foster School is looking for an outstanding Recruiting and Admissions Manager to join the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) and Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) programs team. These self-sustaining graduate degree programs train future business leaders in the fields of supply chain and business analytics.

As the Recruiting and Admissions Manager, you will work in a small and collaborative team that enrolls the most diverse cohort of highly qualified students in the MSBA and MSCM programs. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing recruitment activities, and advising and counseling prospective students. As part of the admissions team, you will provide insights on marketing and recruitment strategy, develop and lead events, create marketing email campaigns, and work with student and alumni ambassadors. Your primary focus will be on the MSBA prospective student experience, but you will partner closely with your MSCM counterpart. You will review applications for admission and provide evaluations to the admission committee regarding their candidacy. You will report to the Associate Director of Admissions & Marketing.

Responsibilities of a Recruiting & Admissions Manager:

Outreach & Recruitment:

• Develop, execute, and manage the recruitment strategy for prospective student engagement alongside the Associate Director to attract and enroll high-quality candidates. These span lead generation and lead nurture activities, events, social media, and improving program websites.

• Counsel and advise prospective students on the programs, Foster, and their program fit. Use a deep understanding of the programs to guide prospective candidates through all stages of the process - from initial inquiry through matriculation.

• Develop and present information sessions and application workshops to prospective students.

• Develop and manage the MSBA Student Ambassador Program. Advise student ambassadors on how to promote Foster, share their experiences and give advice to prospective students.

• Develop and coordinate the MSBA prospective student Class Visit program.

• Respond to a high volume of inquiries about topics such as program fees, financial aid, curriculum, career services provided, informational events, the application process, etc.

• Represent the programs at career fairs, recruiting events, and meetings.

• Manage the programs' CRM prospect and applicant data and be responsible for data integrity.

• Work closely with the Recruiting & Admissions Manager MSCM focal to provide cross-training, share knowledge and ideas, and coverage during absences and busy periods.

• Stay current on recruiting strategies and trends, benchmark activities against other programs, and share knowledge and best practices learned with team members.

• Identify and undertake special projects and other duties as needed in support of the programs.

Admissions & New Student Onboarding:

• Implement and administer the admission application process and policies as determined by the associate director.

• Manage the inflow of application materials and maintain confidential applicant information with a high degree of accuracy. Track and communicate with candidates as they move through the evaluation, interview, and decision process until they receive final decisions.

• Review and evaluate MSBA and MSCM applications for admission and provide input into admission decisions.

• Prepare admission decision materials and convey admissions decisions to candidates in the Graduate School's MyGrad Program and programs' CRM system.

• Participate in the execution of new student onboarding and orientation activities and events as needed.

• May hire and manage student employees supporting the recruiting, marketing, and admissions activities of the programs.

We are looking for people who:

• Have experience working in an admissions, advising, marketing, or counseling capacity in an educational setting or related field.

• Have a high level of motivation, are excellent at follow-up, and are a team-player that delivers within defined timelines.

• Have strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, and can relate positively with culturally diverse populations.

• Are a resourceful and creative problem solver.

• Have strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Are technologically savvy. Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM software systems are a plus.

• Are able to work occasional evening and Saturdays for program events and activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, social sciences, education, or related field.

• Three years of experience in an admissions/advising/counseling capacity in an educational or non-profit setting or related field.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except where there are legal requirements such as license/certification/registration.
