Position Summary

Our Seattle-based client is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for managing provider compensation will be responsible for process improvement, documentation and accuracy of physician compensation plan reporting and calculations. The Senior Financial Analyst will be interacting with healthcare professionals directly as well as finance leadership. The Senior Financial Analyst will be focused on improving the accuracy and transparency of our compensation process. In addition, the position models a workplace culture that is positive, collaborative, accountable for results, built on trust, and strives for constant improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage compensation plan summaries and tracks changes to compensation plans and physician employment contracts
  • Develop new compensation reports, transition current compensation plans to new systems
  • Prepare Compensation reports, support healthcare provider compensation report preparers with making changes to physician compensation reports and answers general compensation report/financial report questions
  • Develop and implement new process improvements to improve quality and transparency of compensation reporting
  • Collaborates with the Director of Finance and Controller on resources and planning.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely with physician shareholders, care center leadership, and the executive team.
  • Assures all prepared physician compensation reports are accurate and in line with compensation plan document.
  • Participate in special projects, developmental opportunities, and other tasks as necessary.
Skills and Experience

  • Need a high attention to detail with organization, problem solving, and planning skills and the ability take ownership of problems and make sound decisions.
  • Independent self-starter who can manage up and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines, and maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to communicate to different levels of individuals including physician shareholders, executives, operations management, and external partners
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related fields
  • Minimum five years of accounting/finance experience
  • Expertise in Financial Statement Analysis/strong understanding of financial reports
  • Healthcare and legal experience a plus
