Join the Portal Framework team as a Senior or Principal Software Engineer focusing on User Interface where you will add new components, refine existing components, and find new ways to improve the development experience. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Youll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide meaningful contribution to code reviews
• Write reusable code, initiate refactoring
• Understand performance/scale tradeoffs
• Create common tools
• Apply coding patterns and best practices
• Architect and build scalable systems, libraries, and frameworks
• Produce and deploy secure code
• Use modern JS libraries and frameworks like React and Angular
• Proficient using RESTful APIs and asynchronous JS
• Frequently test your code with modern JS testing frameworks and tools
• Create accessible web applications (WCAG 2.0 or 508)
• Report to the Engineering Manage r

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical role or the equivalent experience
• 4+ years of coding experience with Front End frameworks like React and Angular
• 4+ years of experience with CSS, HTTP, cookies, caching, and HTML5 web storage
• Expert design experience at the component level
• Experience with architecture patterns of large, high-scale applications

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
