Senior Project Manager

Systems Consulting, LLC (SCL) is a national engineering and construction management consulting firm. The company specializes in project management, planning, project controls, and quality management for the public and private sectors. We are currently seeking a seasoned Transportation Project Manager to join our Seattle, WA office.

Our ideal candidate will have experience managing design-build transportation projects that focus on highway, rail, roadway, and interchanges. In this position, you will be accountable for the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of transportation projects.

JOB DUTIES

• Manage projects in accordance with pertinent standards and environmental regulations from the design phase through completion and close-out of construction

• Maintain close relationships with clients, staff, and regulatory agencies

• Manage permitting and inspections process

• Lead the design process; monitor staffing requirements; manage schedules, budgets, quality oversight, risk management, and safety

• Coordinate with related managers, project engineers, and relevant agencies to monitor project scope, develop and maintain budgets and schedules, review technical reports, and keep up to date with project deliverables

• Communicate with all agencies, consultants and subcontractors to ensure all parties are privy to constant status updates

• Ensure that quality management and risk management are sound throughout the project lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS

You should be a driven professional with a Bachelor's degree in civil/transportation engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the transportation engineering field. A proven track record with substantial transportation projects, large-client project management, and remarkable client service and project milestone delivery are essential. Prior experience on Sound Transit, King County, WSDOT and/or City of Seattle projects is preferred.
