Title: TECHNICAL RECRUITER II/III
Duration: 6-9 months with a chance to convert to FTE
Location: REMOTE
*The team is based out of Seattle, WA

Note: This is a contract-to-hire role with a large e-commerce company in South Lake Union - Seattle, WA

This team is seeking an experienced Recruiter for a LARGE E-COMMERCE COMPANY in Seattle. They will have proven expertise generating candidate pipelines for leadership roles. The Recruiter will work with peers to drive strategies for candidate attraction. They will foster a collaborative team environment and model our service oriented culture. The successful candidate must be able to manage, prioritize, and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks and metrics. S/he must understand how to prioritize work to hit all customer SLAs. S/he will have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, and organization. The successful candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate push back and a sense of urgency as appropriate, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service. Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing and assessment approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment
  • Recruit passive candidates and gauge both technical skills and chemistry of candidates for fit, and to understand candidate motivation
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews with candidates, and demonstrate the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
  • Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new recruiting processes and fine tuning standard processes that fit within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer
  • Articulate in writing a sourcing plan with deliverable, timelines, and a formal tracking process
  • Build and maintain an ongoing candidate pipeline to support hiring goals
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Recruiter.
  • Must have experience with a building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
  • Prior experience in a research capacity for candidate generation.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office- including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships.
  • Ability to continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates.
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Possession of strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
  • Experience recruiting in a highly competitive environment.
Job Requirements:
Skills needed:
- Solid search skills & Boolean, creativity
- Experience with sourcing fairly experienced candidates.
- Excellent communication, written & verbal - this person will interact with a lot of senior managers, directors and sometimes VPs.
- Good market and competitive knowledge
- Ex - Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, Google are highly desired.
- Tech recruiting background is a must (prefer candidates who have sourced for SDE's and BI/Data Science roles).
