About the Position
As the VP of Finance, you'll be an integral part of the leadership team efficiently scaling a finance organization of a growing business with the mission of becoming a $500mil revenue company. You will lead the management and oversight of financial planning, internal financial and operational metrics reporting, finance-business partnerships, and related operational aspects of the business. This role encompasses the company's annual planning process, monthly and quarterly re-forecasting, management and Board reporting, and financial partnership to the organization. You should be an inspiring people leader, a strong cross-functional collaborator, an outstanding communicator, detailed operator and strategic thinker. You will have the ability to understand long-term strategies and translate them into actionable, motivating, and measurable objectives. You will understand how data can be used as an asset and competitive differentiator. You will have a growth mindset and will continuously learn and adapt the way you work. You will lead, inspire, and develop a team of passionate financial professionals excited to grow their careers and to make an impact.
The position reports to the CFO and will be a key participant in driving the success of the business.
Position Responsibilities
- Lay a solid base of financial planning that drives company performance and lead core processes such as long-range planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasts.
- Develop internal financial reporting and commentary that provides senior leaders with timely insights into trends, operational results, and growth drivers.
- Build and foster strong relationships across the business. Help the company understand how all the pieces fit together and drive performance.
- Create systems and processes that enhance financial rigor, enable more thinking and less data manipulation.
- Provide strong financial modeling and analytical support for strategic growth projects, new product development, long-term contracts, and other business initiatives.
- Be responsible for the processes related to operational metric review across different levels of the business
- Handle cross-functional business initiatives and build project execution quality within the team.

Skills and Qualifications
- Must have strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow-up on own initiative
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as good working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word) and data base applications.
- Strong M&A experience
- Professional level PowerPoint skills
- Individual must be collaborative self-starter with good problem-solving skills and ability to interact positively and successfully with all levels of the company.
Experience
- 15+ years in accounting and/or finance organizations in the tech industry
- 5+ years with experience leading/running global teams
